Deep Love

Be drawn into the love between a mother and her baby as you look upon the union of these two as they cruise the deep ocean heading towards warmer waters up the east coast of Australia.

I am drawn to the fact that whales are champion mothers and their maternal care is long lasting, dedicating months or even years to raise their young. I wanted to capture this on canvas so that there is a feeling of being nurtured or of nurturing as you gaze upon such a beautiful scene.
