Double Island Point

Capturing a magical day at Double Island Point. Even on a grey day this scene invokes the magic of Double Island Point. On a discovery tour with my son of the beautiful Sunshine Coast we drove past this idyllic spot at Double Island Point on the way to the Light House there. Immediately my eyes were drawn to the turquoise waters and I had an overwhelming desire to capture this scene.

The guide had his script to follow and stopping here was not in the script, nor were you allowed to interrupt his spiel!!! After much convincing and risking interrupting his dialogue he allowed me to run down and take photos while he opened and closed the gate to the light house which I thought was very kind of him (not). I can highly recommend visiting Double Island Point, but maybe not with the same tour guide.
